Calls for Art
What is a Call for Art?
A Call for Art is an opportunity for an artist to introduce a body of work to an art gallery in consideration for an upcoming exhibition. Whether this is a full collection or a small group of select pieces worthy of showing, the artwork submitted to a Call for Art represents the theme of the show through the perspective of the artist.

What do YOU See?
Submission Deadline: July 28th
Dive into the world of abstraction with our thought-provoking "What do YOU see?" show! Curated by Sheila Shockey, abstract artist and owner of 80 Santa Fe Art Gallery, this exhibition celebrates the power of non-representational art to evoke unique interpretations and emotions in each viewer.
Sheila's curatorial approach is encapsulated in her favorite response when asked about an abstract piece: "What do YOU see?" This show invites artists to create works that challenge perceptions, spark imagination, and encourage viewers to find their own meaning within the abstract forms, colors, and textures.
Opening Friday, August 15, 5pm - 7pm
Show closes October 11

Urban Rhythms
Submission Deadline: September 29th
Building upon the success of our 2024 Street Art Show, we're excited to present "Urban Rhythms" – an exhibition that delves deeper into the multifaceted nature of city life. This show invites artists to capture the essence, energy, and complexity of urban environments through their chosen medium.
"Urban Rhythms" seeks to explore the pulse of the city – from its daily routines and rituals to its hidden legends and forgotten spaces. We're looking for works that not only depict the visual aspects of urban life but also evoke the sounds, feelings, and experiences of navigating our modern cityscapes.
